Kathleen Feyh is a PhD Student at the University of Texas, Austin. She has spent the past two semesters with SRAS in Moscow, performing research for her dissertation on Russian hip hop culture. Married to her partner of the past eight years, she has been active for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transsexual (LGBT) causes in the US and decided to attend the controversial Gay Pride in Moscow as a reporter/observer to see where the movement is here.
